is rather self-assured in a frat-boy sort of way - handsome, but the type likely to have a beer belly by the time they graduate, and will gain weight as soon as he gets married to the girl he meets in his junior year of college. beer and football on sundays until she gets sick of him or he finds someone younger - and gets the golf life to go with it. Not political, but votes republican. wife will likely be the sorority type. No special details that make him quintessentially him - the knowledge that any boy in a polo shirt could fill the role is unremarkable. He's the popular boy type, the asshole that won't call the next day, the good lay that is dating that other girl by next week. The kind that stops off at a bar before he goes home cause he needs a beer before he tells his wife that he didn't pick up the groceries like she asked. but she'll get diamonds on her birthday and a trip to Italy for christmas, so she doesn't complain too much. Even when he only pretends to enjoy the art and seems to put the emphasis on the fact that "we're in Venice, baby, - the city of love."
